Subscription boxes are near and dear to my heart. I just love surprise mail…especially when it’s in fabric form. Sometimes, you get something you’d never order for yourself and it helps put you outside of your comfort zone, or forces you to be a little extra creative. This was my first month of receiving the BeeBox from Vinegar + Honey Co and I LOVED what was inside!
The BeeBoxes are so fun. They ship out on the 15th of each month and are packed with 2 yards of fabric. The yardage can be continuous (like this month’s) or two coordinating fabrics that make up two yards. We also get cute cards in the package with inspiration for something to sew, along with a discount code to use toward the featured pattern that month.
I’d say this sub box is a total winner. But that’s just me. 🙂
I squealed a little when I opened my package because I was so excited to see this tie dye number. I’d probably never pick it for myself (stripes and floral girl here!) but I love the blues and I LOVE that I can use it for Louis too! I wanted to squeeze every bit of goodness out of this 2-yard cut, so I went with the trusty Sweet Tee pattern and made this cute dolman. I totally have enough to make Louis a top and it’s high on my list of things to finish for him.
I couldn’t help myself and printed my Cinderella-inspired design (from Thread & Grain) on it. The colors were screaming Cindy to me! GAH!
I am SO EXCITED to see what arrives in April. I promise to be a faster sew-and-sharer this month. At least I promise to try and be quicker, haha. You know….life.
