Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!
This week’s themes: Pursuing, Eating, Planting, Wearing, Reflecting
Pursuing. A degree in Household Chaos. We are pretty much there with my doctorate. For reals. Louis’ last day of Kindergarten was Friday, which means we’ve got a whole new schedule to adjust to…especially since Bennett is in summer classes all summer long. Add the fabulous festival schedule that Wheeling provides us with, and we will basically be running around all summer, trying to keep up!
Eating. Like crap. For weeks now. I told myself that Louis getting out of school will give me back my mornings to walk two miles again daily in our driveway. My drop dead date to start back up again is Monday…so here we go! Gotta get into shape for those swimsuits we are testing right now.
Planting. I don’t exactly have a green thumb. But Louis picked up some more flowers for our basin-sink-turned-planter on Saturday at the Farmer’s Market. So Bennett and Lou made sure to get those into it, along with the other flowers they’d planted from seeds. I’m excited to be hit with pretty flowers every time we leave our house!
Wearing. New fabric that I designed. Well….I will be soon, at least! I put this design together on Monday and I already have a printer sending a strikeoff to me. I AM SO EXCITED. I’m planning on using this for raglans and leggings and bringing them with me to shows that I do. I think they can be a huge hit!
Reflecting. On the last 6+ years of Louis being with us. It’s hard not to when another year of school passes. I can’t believe how quickly kiddos grow up.
