Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!
This week’s themes: Skipping, Mastering, Climbing, Encouraging, Modeling
Skipping. A few beats of my heart. Corny, yes. But seriously, the guy I married is just the best. He picked me up on Friday from work and took Louis and me to the park for an impromptu picnic. We sat on a blanket, ate together at the park, and then laid back and stared at the clouds for a really long time, just picking out shapes that we saw in them. So much laughing and just quality non-distracted family time. I’m one lucky girl.
Mastering. More with my “pattern designing”. I updated the Wanderer Skirt a little, to include finished measurements, a new front length and an A0 file. Go grab your free copy of the skirt pattern HERE!
Climbing. Lots of hills again. I am taking Louis’ back-to-school time as a new jumping off point for exercise and better health. Monday – Friday (minimum) you’ll be finding me climbing the hills in my driveway for two miles every morning. I feel good after just a week of moving my feet again and it’s been an easier transition than I thought it’d be.
Encouraging. Myself to revisit web development again for my Thread & Grain website. It’s time. It needs to happen. I just get to the point of being overwhelmed and I want to quit all the things. I’m trying hard to fix everything BEFORE I launch the site. Crossing all fingers and toes that I can get it done quickly, because I have something fun I want to release and having the new site will be super helpful with it.
Modeling. Some new clothes that will be showing up on the blog soon! One of them, I already posted in the P4P group last night, but I’ll have a full blog post for it Monday (??). Stoked.
