Sunday Lately :: Week 008-2019

Feb 24, 2019

Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Co-op!  We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!  Simply link up below with your blog post! Not able to make it to your blog this week?  Not to worry, you can link up your #SundayLately Instagram posts too!

Updating. My resume to include “Dance Mom” as a line item. Well, not really. But Louis participated in his school’s Talent Show on Thursday and danced a cute little salsa dance with his classmate. They did so amazing. It’s so fun to watch him find a passion and allow us to help him delve deeper into. Considering kiddo hadn’t ever learned choreography before and had it all memorized by the second practice, I think he has what it takes for sure!

Building. Our wedding outfits! Yes….I said wedding. Bennett and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year and doing it with a party and a vow renewal of sorts. I’ve decided that I want to make our entire family’s worth of formal wear, and I started doing some work on it yesterday. I’m probably not going to show any of it off until the actual day, but I’m super excited about how it’s turning out so are.

Hiding. My anxiety the best I can for the current events on both West Virginia’s state level, and our National one. It’s been really hard lately. I want to stay aware of what’s happening in the world around me, but I’m starting to get to this level of helplessness and frustration. I almost want to take a step back completely and go back to the pre-college girl that barely paid attention to current events. Remember those days? Ignorance is bliss….

The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!

    I feel ya with the ignorance is bliss statement. For the last year it has started to feel too much with no end in sight. Best of luck with the wedding attire! I can’t wait to see it.
