My kiddo is OBSESSED with wearing a sleep mask to bed every single night. This has been going on for nearly two years now and he feels like he doesn't get enough rest if he wasn't wearing his mask. He's also equally as obsessed with foxes. It was only natural to...
This post has been a long time coming and I'm finally here to share with you about the Cricut EasyPress (and give you a FREE Halloween cut file while I'm at it!) Are you ready? Back when we were in Salt Lake City for Cricut's big MakeAThon, they announced three new...
The news this morning was a hard one to wake up to. My heart hurts for the families, first responders, Las Vegas community, and our great nation. I’ll try to keep my political opinions out of this as much as I can, but it’s pretty obvious that things like this shouldn’t continue to happen.
Before I start with any of this, let me give you some major disclaimers.

— I have owned a Silhouette Cameo (the original version) since 2009, so I am more familiar with the software…but I have spent A LOT of time recently using the Cricut products just so I could get an honest handle on them. My son’s birthday party decorations, etc were 100% Cricut created, specifically for this blog post.

Whenever something big happens and I start to feel super sad / down / helpless, it always helps me to create something that has a positive message to it. It might sound silly, but forcing myself to find a positive message during a less-than-positive time makes me a little more hopeful. I wish I didn’t ever feel the need to make these things. But here we are again.
Do you ever run into a creative block? I do for sure. And it’s A FREAKING BUMMER when it happens. Like, life altering. When I want to make something but can’t figure out what to make, it’s straight up depressing.
I went through it with these fabrics from RP Custom Fabrics. They’re gorgeous and I wanted to do them justice. It basically destroyed my sewjo….and then a lightbulb went off. Star Wars. The answer is Star Wars. (In reality, the answer is always Star Wars.)
…I’m here to bring you a new Star Wars free cut file, so you can decorate your shirts join our family is nerding out. It’s Star Wars Day every day, so don’t worry if you can’t get to making something today!
When the news reached me, my day got a whole lot sadder.
Thank you for blessing us with all of your talents, Carrie Fisher.
May the Force be with you, Princess.
It’s time I brought a couple of freebies and tutorials to my own blog, eh? I wanted to make Louis another fun, festive Christmas shirt…and I thought it’d be fun to share with you guys too! So here it is!!
We are hosting a pumpkin carving party at our house today. And to me, a theme party ALWAYS equals a new shirt. Always. (But then just waking up in the morning and being alive is enough of a reason for me to make a new shirt....so......) Anyway. It's been a super...
The Harry Potter bug has hit our house (several years later than everyone else)! While walking through JoAnn Fabrics the other day, Louis really wanted to buy this 15 x 30 canvas. Like reeeeeeeally wanted it. He had no plans, really. Just wanted to make something...
My heart breaks a little more each time an AP notification pops up on my phone. I can't handle another news story about an unthinkable act, fueled by blind hatred. Or ignorance. Or really anything. I just can't. Sometimes, the only thing I can ever think to do...
