It’s Louis’ last day of school before Christmas break tomorrow and they aren’t required to wear their uniforms…so naturally I needed to make him something fun and festive. Because that’s just how we operate as a family. Louis went upstairs with me to my sewing room and we picked fabrics and talked about what he wanted. I wasn’t planning on printing anything on it, but the first thing kiddo said was that he wanted something funny. A little while later, we had it all figured out. A dabbing Santa. I mean, what could be better than that?
I’ll have you know that he was the one to place the final letters for “tree” on the design. I am starting to get a little nervous that my 7-year old is about to take over my job. Maybe more than a little.
As per my usual, I thought it would be fun to share the design with you fine people as a freebie. We’re cutting it close to Christmas, but in case you have one more shirt you’d like to make…Louis and I have you covered.

Pattern: Jolly Roger Raglan by Patterns for Pirates
