I’ve recently become a giant fan of giant bobble stitches and decided to dive in and make myself an entire sweater out of them! And because the world needs more rainbows in it, I made it as colorful as humanly possible.
You can see the finished sweater (and way too many photos of me in it) HERE.
I originally drew this chart up for myself, and then realized it wouldn’t take much to share it. So here we are! Fair warning: this is a chart, not a fully written, row-by-row pattern. I do not teach you how to make the stitches, and I don’t give full-blown instructions for finishing the sweater. But if you’re comfortable with crochet and don’t mind figuring out a few things on your own, I think you’ll be able to make it.
Here’s what you’ll need to know how to do:
- Make giant bobble stitches, double crochets and single crochets
- Join the bodice and sleeve pieces together
- Create the bands and cuffs
I’m not writing tutorials for those, but there are plenty of great ones out there if you need a refresher. Think of the chart as your roadmap, and the techniques as your own adventure.

Just pop your info into the form below and the chart will be emailed straight to your inbox.

I used a crochet hook size H-8 (5.0 mm) and Loops & Threads Worsted Yarn from Michaels (formerly Big Twist Value from JoAnn) in the following colors:
- Hot Pink
- Varsity Red
- Varsity Gold
- Slime
- Varsity Navy Blue
- Grape

Pretty please with sugar on top share with me if you end up making something for yourself, or a gift for someone else! I’d die to see your work! Don’t forget to tag me #wildandwanderfulblog (I’m @wildandwanderfulblog on Instagram). The idea of seeing something you’ve created from a tutorial I shared gives me ALL THE FEELS. Don’t leave me hanging!
