This is not the first Pixar movie that ever made me cry – but it’s one of my favorites.  Maybe it’s the cute old man with his hipster glasses (that kind of look like mine) that make me feel an extra bit of love for it.  Who knows?

We had a party at our house last weekend with a few of our friends and everyone got their “carve on”.  We even take it to the extent of making it a competition where people receive a prize for the best carving.  Unfortunately, I get disqualified because I’m the hostess AND the gift giver…but I’d like to think that I’d be the winner every time.  A girl can dream, right?
