Two Super Heroes and a Princess.

Feb 10, 2015

When this sweet little face comes up to you…

…excitedly holding this face painting kit…

…you take a short break from work and play along.

Louis wanted to be a super hero, so he put on one of his capes and told me how he wanted his face to be painted.  Colors, design, everything.  He had it figured out and wouldn’t budge from it.  His super hero name today is “Storm Water” and he can control the weather.  Among other things.  Because Louis never likes to limit his super powers to just one thing.  I mean, that would be silly.

I’m not saying that I’m ever (EVER.) going to volunteer to paint faces at a carnival or school event, but I really didn’t do too shabby for my first go-round.  Maybe it’s because I’m making a mask and not some sort of actual drawing.  My actual artistry is mostly limited to hearts and flowers and writing my name in cursive over and over and over again.  So forgive me for being so darn proud of my painting skills this one day.

Lou wanted to paint our faces as well, and also had a pretty specific plan for the both of us.  I was turned into a princess.  Obviously.

And at first Bennett was going to be a bear but Louis last minute switched it up and turned his Daddy into a super hero as well.

Most likely, we won’t be leaving the house tonight.  But if you were to stop by, this is exactly what the three of us look like today.  Two superheroes and a princess.  (Although, really…I will always be a Queen Bee.  I’m not sure about this princess crap.)

The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!

Oh my god, the third photo with the sneaky, all-knowing face is too much. This is so heartwarming. Thank you for sharing a bit of your family with us!

Louis has always had the best facial expressions. I keep saying that he's destined to grow up and be an entertainer.
