Can I just start by saying that maybe we shouldn’t have hard boiled a dozen eggs? Because I have to stop myself from eating one every time I go near the fridge. Why are they so good? They’re just eggs! And yet…dump a little salt on the top of them and they are the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my life ever. AMIRIGHT?!?!
Whew. Anyway. Carrying on. We decorated eggs this weekend.
Louis had really been wanting to color eggs so we finally squeezed in a little time to make it happen. It was sweet to see him so involved this year. Because if I remember correctly, we did literally all of the decorating and dyeing of the eggs last year while Louis just watched. This year, kiddo handled those eggs like a pro.
Last year we had awesome pirate decorations for our eggs. This year, we found an equally awesome beachy-themed kit for them. I think they turned out incredibly adorable. I especially loved the placement of the stickers on the ones Louis did. Their mouths were a little crooked, making the smiles seem even cuter than I would have made the octopus or other little dudes.
Aren’t they sweet? I’ll pretty much get a kit like this every year, from here on out. It makes decorating them extra adorable and super easy!
OMG this is too adorable! I love dying eggs (and I'm probably too old to be doing it by myself this year, but damnit I will) and those are fantastically decorated. Almost too cute to eat. But hard boiled eggs are fantastic. They're so easy to make/eat, yet I only do around Easter time.
You're never too old to decorate eggs! NEVER!
