Blogs I Love.

May 21, 2015

AngelicaMeghan and I are all challenging ourselves to blog every day during the month of May.  We are hoping you can join in too!  Today’s prompt: Blogs you love.

I love all the blogs.  There, I said it.
Okay, no.  But I do have a ton of bloggers that I never miss a single post from.

Sewing Inspiration.

The Sewing Rabbit.  Jessica is awesome.  She has brilliant posts that are generally filled with tutorials, patterns and outfit inspirations.  And she is incredibly friendly and makes sure to comment back whenever I decide to stop being such a creeper and actually let her know I’m reading her posts.

The Pattern Revolution.  Good lord, I should stop following this blog.  Because it makes me want to spend all of my money on every single pattern they post on there.  This site is dedicated to empowerment…women loving sewing and themselves.  They share fashion and styling tips, and often times are running series like the current ‘Beautiful Campaign.”

See Kate Sew. I adore Kate and her style.  And her photography.  And really most things about her.  She’s a pattern designer and is always sharing the different ways you can take one of her designs and make about ten million pieces from it.

Ot & Et

Parenthood.

Absolute Mommy. Megan is fricken hysterical.  I can’t remember how I came across her and her blog.  Maybe Instagram?  Either way, I love how raw and real she can be with parenting and marriage and trying to balance work and life.

The Foley Fam. I just think I love Kristine.  She’s a Momma of three (2 beautiful little girls and a brand new, beautiful, baby boy).  Their family life seems to be held together with lots of love.  But mostly, I follow along because Kristine is just the cutest and I can’t get enough of her.

Ot & Et. I love Lindsay.  I came across her blog when I was looking for a “currently” linkup.  And then I stayed.  And then followed her on IG, Facebook, we sent each other Christmas cards this year and she used me for some shirt printing/designing with a new business prospect of hers.  Her kiddos have the COOLEST style ever and she’s got a parenting style that probably alines with ours the most.  It’s a shame they live so. stinking. far. away from us or we would be besties.  I just know it.

Fashion / Blogging / Lifestyle / Etsy-ing.

Hayes Days. I met Meghan through blogging and she is my go-to girl when I need fashion advice.  Not joking.  I’ve sent her a couple of “please help a fashionless girl” texts in the recent past.  She’s always super sweet and I do love her sense of style.  She inspires me to get rid of all of my clothes and start a basic wardrobe where I can mix/match and remix all of my basics into a complete, smaller, set.

Gardening in High Heels. Angelica and I have just connected recently and we discovered that we are practically neighbors.  Maybe not neighbors, but this adorable girl lives in Pittsburgh, which is a little over an hour away from me.  Coffee will be happening.  Stat.  What I love about Angelica most is her writing style.  She combines fashion / crafting / blogging advice / everyday things into well written pieces that don’t leave me confused about who she is as a person and a blogger.  And she’s super sweet.  Bingo bango.

Designs by Nicolina. Nicole and I met through a blog linkup.  She commented on something of mine, I looked her up and we became insta-friends.  Nevermind that we live in totally different states and we’ve never met in person…but we started up a little business together.  Isn’t it crazy what blogging will lead you to these days?  I visit Nicole’s blog to get lots of things from her: tips about Etsy or blogging, Disney inspired goodies, her blog series about people who have businesses in the online handmade world, etc.  It’s all good things.

I have about a million more blogs on my Bloglovin’ reader but these are the few that I actually read all of their posts.  My favs!

Who do you have on your blog roll?

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!

D'aww, you're the sweetest! Thank you for the kind words 🙂 I definitely need just about all of those pillows from the Sewing Rabbit for my mother (she's the ultimate crazy quilt lady) and the "I can totally make that" describes me to a T. I'd love to kick up my sewing skills, so I will definitely be bookmarking those blogs.
