Back in March, Bennett and I went to a fundraiser/auction at Louis’ school.  And we actually bid on something and WON!  Go us!  We actually did a 50/50 split with one of Louis’ friends and got a “teacher experience” for the kiddos to share.  Yesterday, we cashed in on that experience and I’m so glad we did.  Louis had an absolute blast.

We bid on the chance for two students to have three P’s: a picnic, paddle boating and put-put golf, with their teachers.  Miss Claire and Miss Stephanie are GEMS and we are sad that they won’t be with Louis every day during the coming year of school.  But we were super excited that Louis and Carson got to have a little one-on-one time with them yesterday.

We met them at the park and the boys had the time of their lives with their teacher/heroes.  I don’t think Louis could adore his teachers more than he does.  I wish I could capture how much his face lights up when he sees them, especially when it’s outside of school.  Sometimes I wonder if Louis thinks they exist only on school grounds. Ha.

Stephanie sent us a couple of pictures of the sweaty messes that are our children.  From Louis’ recap, he loved every second of his teacher time.  And I think these pictures validate that as well.  Aren’t Carson and Louis just the cutest little best buddy duo?
