What? Sunday already? Let’s do this!
This week’s themes: Dwelling, Helping, Forgetting, Switching, Relying
Dwelling. In a land of bliss this weekend. We have had a FULL house of fun all weekend long. My sister, brother-in-law and niece (and nephew-to-be baby bump!) came in from Indiana. My Momma drove in from PA. And then a musician friend of ours from New Jersey came in to do a concert at the Blue Church in Wheeling with his girlfriend. It’s been busy and fun and full of moving and shaking.
Helping. Quench my sewing thirst by stitching up a couple of things on Friday. I’ve had fabric and these designs in my head for a while now and finally got a chance to make my vision into a reality. And then, my IG and Facebook went wild with people asking if they could steal them out from under me. No worries, people. I will be making some for sale!
Forgetting. How stressful it can be to parent sometimes. And how much you need a big ole’ margarita to help calm those nerves once in a while.
Switching. Back to real life is going to be hard today. I love having lots of chaos in the house, when it means that we’ve got a full house of family. Watching Louis and Delilah play together is a dream. But really, after all of the ridiculous amount of food / calories I’ve eaten all weekend, my body is probably going to be super happy for the snap back to reality.
Relying. On coffee. Alllll the coffee. I have so much work to get done this week. Someone set me up with an IV drip. Stat.
