Happy Independence Day!! I thought it would be fun and appropriate to fill my blog with red, white and blue this morning…AND it was a great time to show off a new pattern that I have!
Allow me to introduce you to Rabbit Rabbit Creations’ Sweet Dreams Vintage Bloomer, Ladies Edition.
Is it weird that one of our friends asked the other day what we sleep in? I think he was just trying to lead into a story about his hilarious and ridiculous sleep attire of choice from the other day…but it was kind of funny to think about what i sleep in. Which is the least cute thing ever: a random tshirt and a pair of whatever shorts I can find. Super sexy, right? Sorry Bennett!
With how quick and easy these bloomers stitch up, I think I will finally be updating my sleepwear. And really, if I lengthened these just a tad bit, I could see them being a really awesome part of an outfit that I could wear out of the house.
Things that I loved about this pattern:
- It was crazy quick to make.
- Not much fabric was required. So it was awesome that I could finally make something with this darn red polka dot fabric that I’ve had laying around forever now. Yay scrap buster!
- There were only four pieces of fabric to cut. And three pieces of elastic. I love things that don’t take much preparation.
- The fit was super relaxed and comfy.
- It’s a style of shorts I’ve never had before.
I get at least one email a day asking if I can take more booty shots and put them on my blog. Kidding. I don’t get any emails at all like that. Hahaha. It’d be more likely that people would ask me to stop putting butt shots on here.
Here you go, America! Whether you want it or not! Bam.
After the insane level of fierce that Louis brought in his patriotic-clothing photoshoot, I tried to bring the biz as well. But, sadly, I have been schooled by my own child. He wins in the Patriotic Fierce-Off. Hands down. Damnit.
Happy 4th of July, friends! I hope your celebrations are fun and SAFE. Excuse me while I go inspect Bennett’s bag of fireworks and try and hide the ones that freak me out (ie: anything that flies, goes boom or explodes).
Disclaimer: I received this pattern for free, in exchange for my review. All opinions are, and always will be, my own.
