Sunday Lately :: Week 34

Aug 23, 2015

Hey-o!  Sunday Lately is coming at you a little late today…due to the fact that I’m old and can’t hack it anymore.  Haha.  We had a party for Louis last night and I am exhausted today.  A good exhausted, but still exhausted.  Let’s get down to it!  This is what I’ve been up to lately…

Updating. My blog today for a few posts this week about the epic Lego party that we had last night, for Louis’ 5th birthday.  Brace yourselves, people.  Lego mania is about to hit this blog.  I’ll try and keep them to a minimum…but I’ll be sharing lots of printables, templates and info on how I made everything happen for the shindig.

Reminding. Myself that even though today should be a day of rest, we have a loooooooot of cleanup to do from last night’s party.  We partied hard with all of those kiddos and parents running around.  But I’m going to have to say that Louis’ birthday was yet another success.  I can’t wait to share photos tomorrow.

Wearing. SOS pants in a soft, jegging fabric, cut at short length.  Because they’re comfy and I am exhausted and sore from yesterday’s fun.  Stretchy pants are a must at the moment.  Sore?  Was I running a marathon or something?  Why am I sore from a 5-year old’s party?  This remains a mystery to me.

Needing. All the coffee in the world.  Especially after last week.  We had a BIG week of fun.  It was exhausting but awesome…and I’m glad that the pressure of that week is now off my shoulders.  Now I can get back to Louis’ Time for School Capsule clothing, as well as some other projects that I’ve had on the backburner for a while.  Oh.  And planning out our Halloween costumes, because we are crazy and have something up our sleeves that may take a bit to execute.

Being. Happy.  Happy that we could have such a fun party for Louis.  Happy that we have amazing friends, who have amazing children, that are willing to come celebrate with us.  Happy that we are settled into Wheeling enough to have our “tribe” of people now.  Happy that we have nothing to do today besides veg and play video games and open the presents Louis got yesterday at the party.  Just happy.

The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
