Boo at the Zoo 2015.

Oct 24, 2015

Last night we hit up the local zoo for another round of “Boo at the Zoo”.  It’s a chance for kids to wear their costumes, “trick or treat” at stations around the zoo, and be able to go on a haunted train ride.

Plus, any chance for Louis to get another wear out of his costume is totally a trip worth taking.  We finally ordered in a light saber to complete his Ezra costume.  Because the costume is wrong if you don’t have the correct light saber, Momma.  Duh.

We were lucky ducks and got to hang out with Liliana and her family for the evening.  Isn’t she sweetest Belle?  And of course I loved the Minion as well.

Liliana was totally in love with all of the blow-up decorations they had scattered across the zoo grounds.  It was hysterical that she had to hug/kiss each of them as we went past.  This poor pumpkin skeleton dude took the most loving from her, I think.  Every hug from her deflated him enough to send him straight to the ground.  It was adorable.

We ran into a few friends along our trek.  I asked Louis and Donovan to look tough.  And this is what they hit me with.  Nailed it.  Toughest Batman and Ezra I’ve ever seen.

Louis left the zoo that night, telling us that it was the best night ever.  And that made this whole excursion worth it.  Even if we had to stand in line and i had to listen to two grumpy dads ::cough Jon-Erik and Bennett cough:: complain the entire time about how long the line was to get to the train.

This coming week is FULL of Halloween madness!  So excited!
