Oh, be still my fragile Momma heart. We went to the pumpkin patch (Ebbert’s Farm in St. Clarisville, OH) for the sixth year in a row with Louis. Their pumpkins and apples are oh-so good…and they have a little sign for Louis to stand up against and take that traditional, cheesy yearly photo.
I shouldn’t have done it. It’s just proof that he keeps growing!!
I mean, I was already pretty certain that he’s grown two inches this past summer alone. But still.
We have our annual McKinley Pumpkin Carving Party this weekend, so we needed some gourds to carve. I have a really fun idea for my pumpkin this year. It’s super nerdy and crafty…just like me. I’m excited to eat alllll the pumpkin stuff and do some classic holiday pumpkin carving with our crew.
We are ready to rock this party. I need to look up some new recipes to try…and perhaps we will be busting out our tried and true pumpkin chili. What’s a pumpkin party if you’re eating something that isn’t pumpkin flavored? Seriously.
I can’t believe Halloween is so close to being here already. These year-end holidays just creep up on you so quickly! Yikes!
Dear Louis,
Stop growing.
Love always, your sappy Momma.
