Sunday Lately :: Week 41

Oct 11, 2015

This week has been pure insanity.  And you can tell, because there were CRICKETS on my blog.  Whoops.  At least Sunday Lately is ready to rock?  Let’s go!

This week’s themes: Planning, Loving, Reading, Wishing, Feeling

Planning. The final execution of my Top Stitchers competition post.  It’s due tomorrow and goes live on Tuesday at: TopStitchers.com  You should totally check it out (as well as the other posts that have already hit this season!)

Loving. The fact that I was able to get an honest head start on my Christmas goodies.  I glittered and made 200 ornaments…and they’re already rolling off the shelf.  Err….the stack of ready-to-ship boxes that are hanging out in my living room. (Pssst…they’re HERE if you want to see them!)

Reading. Nothing.  Nothing at all.  I’m such a bum.  I do WISH I were reading Mindy Kailing’s new book.  But I think I’ll put that on my Christmas wish list, or hope that Santa leaves it in my stocking this year.  We will see.

Wishing. We could get Louis through this illness that seems to be plaguing him.  He was out of school Wednesday and Thursday this week.  Fever one day, throwing up the next.  And we got all the way through Friday as if he was healthy again.  But Saturday, a fever struck up again.  So I feel like we are back to square one.  I hope that he feels better when he wakes up this morning.  I’m keeping all of my fingers and toes crossed for my little bug.

Feeling. Accomplished.  Mostly.  Yesterday, Bennett and I STUFFED the car full of anything we’ve made and took it down to the Wheeling Farmers Market.  It was super fun.  So many of our friends came to visit us, and we got to meet a ton of people.  It was nice to break into my local market a little bit more.  I do so well online and I ship all over the country/world.  And yet, my own hometown still doesn’t know about me.  I’ll keep trying.  And today helped a bit.

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
