Sunday Lately :: Week 45

Nov 8, 2015

Oh hey!  It’s Sunday but it’s waaaaay late for me getting this post up.  Let’s just explain it away by saying I was a little “under the weather” today.

This week’s themes: Completing, Visiting, Repeating, Applauding, Scheduling

Completing. Another weekend of fun in Wheeling.  Bennett and I went to the Dancing with the Ohio Valley Stars last night.  It was as much fun to watch as last year’s and the talent on stage was excellent.  Bennett and I are friends with the majority of the dancers, so it made it even more exciting to watch them shake their booties up on stage.

Visiting. The couch all day.  Because this old lady just doesn’t get the hint and keeps trying to act like she’s in college.  Or not.  I don’t really think I had that much to drink last night, but boy did it take me down.  Until 5:00, to be exact.  Good lord.

Repeating. A ton of squeals of excitement as the emails start coming in for the Wear to Where? tour that officially launches tomorrow.  Angelica and I are hosting a 35-blogger tour, that joins both the sewing and the fashion worlds for some fun.  Seriously.  Two weeks worth of bloggers in this tour!  It’s going to be the bomb dot com.  (Plus I need to get my butt going and finish up on my look.  One of the pieces though?  Gold pants.  Yesssss.)

Applauding. Louis over his mad gaming skills.  We went to Chuck E Cheese with some friends on Thursday and Louis KILLED IT.  No joke.  He kept hitting the bonus on one of the games several times in a row…so much so that we had to wait for the attendants to come and refill the ticket holder because he wiped them clean.  Lou was pretty proud of his ticket winnings.

Scheduling. Myself some time for early Christmas present planning.  Christmas will basically be here tomorrow.  And since we try and make most of our gifts, I really need to start thinking it through right now so I can tackle all of them.

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
