Sunday Lately :: Week 48

Nov 29, 2015

Wahoo!!  It’s another round of Sunday Lately AND the start of our return home from vacation.  As much as I hate the thrust back into reality, it’s always really nice to be back in your own space, in your own routine.

Today’s themes: Dwelling, Helping, Forgetting, Switching, Relying

Dwelling. Upon the fact that I really didn’t take enough pictures over the last nine days.  It’s okay, because it meant I was more “in the moment” of everything.  But it’s also a bummer that I don’t have those moments to share.  We left Charlotte on Sunday and headed to Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina…where we stayed with 21 family members until heading home yesterday.  It was a full week of awesome.

Helping. Myself to a little bit of a relaxation before diving right into orders tomorrow.  I might die.  My phone was buzzing off the hook and I’ve got quite the backlog to tackle over the next couple of days.  Ack!  Send coffee!!

Forgetting. How relaxing vacations can really be.  Ever since Louis came into our lives, traveling has always had a level of stress.  Not his fault, but directly caused by the kiddo.  He’s out of his element and surrounded by strange things and doesn’t always adjust.  But this week was SO GOOD.  Louis was in heaven.  He had the time of his life.  We never had any meltdowns.  And I didn’t feel like I was working triple overtime just to keep him happy and still be “vacationing”.

Switching. My hair color back soon, hopefully.  The pool at our rental home turned my hair green.  Like, green-green.  So I’m hoping I can find a way to neutralize that tone and get myself back to the sassy red hair that I love, haha.

Relying. On a lot of patience from people who will inevitably email me over the next few days/weeks.  I need an email fairy.  Stat.

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
