Wear to Where? Blog Tour | Introduction

Nov 9, 2015

Once upon a time, a sewer and a non-sewer had an idea. It was mostly the sewer’s idea. What if you did a fashion post where you had a specific place or event you were dressing for, like “what would you wear to a brewery,” because let’s face it, both the sewer and the non-sewer are kind of lushes.

The sewer said, “Let’s pick a few other prompts and open it up for other sewers and fashiony types.” The non-sewer was all about this. Somehow, 35 other bloggers thought the idea was just so awesome too. Thus, Wear to Where? was born.

You’ve probably been here before, so I don’t need to introduce myself…or explain my Obsessive Sewing Habits to you all.  But the other half of the tour guiding for Wear to Where? is Angelica: my partner in crime (on this tour and other things in life), and blogger over at Gardening in High Heels.  She’s awesome, stylish, sweet, spunky, and adorable.  All good things, all good things.  Please take some time to read through her blog if you haven’t already!

Now back to the #WearToWhereTour…

Wear to Where’s goal is to collide two worlds: Fashion and Sewing. We have two (!!) full weeks of people who sew their own clothes and people who style clothes paired up in a head-to-head battle highlighting the places each blogger would wear their style.

We’d love for you to join in the fun. Each day, Angelica and I will reveal the bloggers of the day, but if you want to play along and link up your own look, here is where you’ll wear each outfit.

Looking for more opportunities to win some free stuff?  Who isn’t?  We’ve created a linkup so you can blog along with us on each of the themes.  You’re more than welcome to link something you’ve already posted about, as long as it was from the past three months, no earlier than that.  We want to see what you’ve got going on now in your closet!

It’s a lot of info to handle all at once.  Sorry about that!  Tomorrow’s post will be a lot more fun than informative, because we’ve got four fabulous ladies lined up to show you their Office Attire looks.  So. Stinking. Excited.

See you tomorrow!

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
