Christmas Day was fab.  So fab, I failed to really take any pictures of anything (iPhone photos included) and I’m totally okay with that.  I was more “in the moment”, visiting with my Momma, watching Louis excitedly open and play with every single gift, stuffing myself silly, drinking all the booze.  I mean, who has time to take pictures on Christmas?

Santa brought Louis his first “big boy bike”, and I did break out the camera for his first ride.  Right now, we are keeping the training wheels on until he gets the hang of it.  But I’m excited for his new learning experience.

The little goofball kept his jammies on all day long today, too.  Which is so out of character for him (he usually won’t leave his bedroom without being fully dressed and ready for the day) but it was cute to see because it was part of his Christmas experience.

The evening ended with some dinner and presents with the McKinley crew (and my Momma too but she was taking the picture).  

Nice picture, right?  My favorite was this “outtake” while Bennett was getting the lighting right for us.  Much more appropriate.
