This week’s themes: Updating, Remembering, Needing, Wearing, Being.
Updating. My wardrobe with some more me-made goodies. I’m in the midst of a few pattern tests, as well as a 15K celebration for Patterns for Pirates…so there are a lot of things to be sewn. Plus, I had a crap-tastic body image day and it called for making some new duds. Which I ended up loving to death and it totally lifted my spirits. Sewing is TOTALLY a form of therapy. For me at least.
Remembering. To actually look at the Sunday Lately schedule and do the proper prompts for that week. I’m repeating the same ones that I wrote last week because I somehow got everything all mixed up. Whoops.
Needing. To wish everyone a happy Valentine’s Day! We aren’t much for celebrating the holiday in a romantic way (because truth be told, Bennett and I don’t need a holiday to be sweet to each other). BUT, that doesn’t mean I don’t like eating chocolate and seeing heart decorations everywhere! HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY, LOVES!
Wearing. Myself out with work stuff. I have a laundry list of things I need to get done, and an even longer list of things I’d love to add to the shop. I just need to find the time to make it all work!
Being. Excited about what the day will bring. We are giving Louis what we call a “Louis Day”. Which means he gets to pick out what we do that day completely. What we eat for meals, what we do during the day, where we go…everything. It’s just a special day geared toward his interests. He loves it and has fun being in charge for once. I’m looking forward to pampering that sweetie pie of ours. He is my Valentine, after all.
