Sunday Lately :: Week 60

Feb 21, 2016

Angelica, Meaghan, Nicole, and myself. We e-hang out every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the last week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Completing, Visiting, Repeating, Writing, Scheduling.

Completing. A week of zero blogging, minus Sunday Lately.  I’ve been on fire with blogging in the new year and apparently last week was my week to just take a small break.  I had things to write about, I just never had time to get it in here.  But don’t worry (not that you are), this week’s blogging schedule is FULL.  Already.  Make sure to come back here tomorrow…because I’m kicking off my leg of the Boys Can Wear Pink, Season 2.  And Louis’ photos are some of my favorites of him.

Visiting. Bennett’s old high school last night to take photos for them. They had their annual fundraiser last night and Bennett and I donated our time to them in the way of photography.  We had a photobooth set up and Bennett was taking photos while I was editing and printing them on site.  We make a pretty great team.  I never understand the people that need space from their significant others…I count my lucky stars every day that I get to work with and be around Bennett as much as I do.

Repeating. Last year’s tactics and planning out our Easter outfits already.  To sew, of course.  Because I’m a nutso and that’s just what I do.  This will be the third year that we get to attend the White House Easter Egg Roll and I love making things for us to wear to it.  This year’s color scheme will revolve around greens.  I’m already excited about it.  Like super excited.

Writing. With my calligraphy pens a lot lately.  And trying to learn the proper technique.  Did you know that being a leftie with calligraphy is a huge disadvantage?  I’m just learning this now, after struggling to figure out how to get the strokes down properly.  Something about the angle that we approach the paper with our pens.  We live in a right handed world, that’s for sure.

Scheduling. A week worth of posts on here and other work that needs to get done.  Last week was a busy one and this one is apparently too.  No complaints from me, though.  I’d rather be busy than bored.

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
