Sunday Lately :: Week 62

Mar 6, 2016

Angelica, Meaghan, Nicole, and myself. We e-hang out every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the last week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Doing, Appreciating, Designing, Humming, Expecting.

Doing. A lot of planning for the month of March today.  It’s probably going to try and kill me.   We’ve got so many “big” things happening…and they all require me to sit and actually write it all out and plan my time accordingly.  (Dear Coffee, you and I are going to be BFFs today/this week/forever and ever and ever.)  One of our biggest things is for Louis’ school fundraiser.  We were hired to photograph all of the classes and create canvas images for them to be able to sell to the parents.  Nine grades have been photographed by Team McKinley and we’ve been working hard on the computer side of it to create some art worth of walls.  So excited for their big reveals!

Appreciating. My husband and his support.  I had a mild breakdown the other day over the business side of my business.  He didn’t join in my crazy but simply stated that we’d get through it.  Which is exactly the type of thing I need to hear when I go a bit on the crazytrain.  This is why you marry someone who has a calmer personality than you…when one of you is losing it, the other is there to pick you back up.  If we were both high octane like me.  Oh man.

Designing. Our White House Easter Egg Roll outfits!  Woot!  I’ve got all of the fabrics coming in this week and I’m stoked.  I’m even planning on making my Momma a top so she can coordinate with us and we can be one big, dorky, color coordinated family.

Humming. John Legend’s “All of Me”.  I don’t know why.  It’s in my head as I’m writing this and I can’t seem to get it to stop.  I think it’s the “perfect imperfections” line that sells it the hardest to me.  I’ve got a lot of those.

Expecting. To be working my tush off all week.   Brace yourselves people…my level of intensity might be heightened this week.  (Or maybe just: Brace yourself Bennett.  Because he’s the one who has to deal with me the most, haha.)

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
