If you remember, back in November I was brought onto the Patterns for Pirates team (alongside Nicole!), to help our fabulous leader Judy with the business. Mostly, we play in the background and do a lot of things “behind the scenes” that you don’t get to see. Brainstorming new styles, coming up with contests, etc.
But if you’re a member of the Facebook group or happen to read the blog, I’m on there a lot too. I’ve shared pattern hacks, a bowtie pattern, and in general I’m somewhere lurking around and e-hanging out with 16K women who love to sew.
This week, I feel like I’m everywhere! We are hosting the first ever P4P Sew-A-Long and it’s been a lot of fun so far!
Today is “Day 3”, where we are talking about cutting out the pattern…and I even shared an easy “hack” on how to get your circle skirt portion to look like a high/low skirt! It’s ten shades of awesome how many women are sewing along with us. And I’m loving the fabric shares that are happening.
If you so choose, come hang out with me the rest of the week on the P4P blog! I’ll be sharing another dress and a peplum top that I made from the Sweetheart pattern tomorrow!
