Sunday Lately :: Week 66

Apr 3, 2016

Angelica, Meaghan, Nicole, and myself. We e-hang out every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the last week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Planning, Loving, Reading, Wishing, Feeling.

Planning. So many fun, new, exciting (and time consuming!!) things for my business.  We’ve decided to take a whole new route on things than previously planned.  And I believe it will be worth the work, we just need to get to it.  May 1 is my personal cutoff date to make it all happen.  Fingers crossed I can hit it without going crazy!

Loving. The clutches that I stitched up yesterday.  I’ve had this fabric cut out for an entire year now, it seems, and I’m finally getting around to sewing them up.  I don’t know what took me so long.  But I am loving the end results.  AND, I’m excited to get them officially photographed and listed in the shop.  Woot!

Reading. Blogs again.  Dude, I suuuuuuuuucked in March.  Like, hard.  I fell behind in so much social media stuff.  Which, sadly, is what my business and blogging rely on.  April is my fresh start.  I had a strong breakout into 2016 and then dropped down…so now I can rev my engines back up and make April my bitch.

Wishing. Other people could witness how funny and creative Louis is.  His grandma gave him an id tag holder of hers (she’s a nurse at a local hospital) and Louis really wanted to wear it.  But not without a photo.  So he had me take a “picture of him looking really cool”, so we could “print it from the computer in my craft room” and then hang it on his tag.  I think he nailed his cool look.  I mean, seriously.

Feeling. Motivated.  I have a renewed energy.  We have revamped our diets, I’ve created lists (on top of lists, on top of lists) for business stuff, I’ve actually broken out my planner again and started looking at it in a broad monthly view….and I stocked up on coffee for my house to make sure I can handle it all.

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
