Sunday Lately :: Week 80

Jul 10, 2016

Angelica, Meaghan, Nicole, and myself. We e-hang out every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the last week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Completing, Visiting, Repeating, Writing, Scheduling.

Completing. Something that Louis has been asking for a long time now: his very own YouTube channel.  I posted about his very first video, and had a mini-photoshoot with the shirt we made together.  (You can find all of that HERE.)  He’s already put up his second video, where he builds a Lego set with his Daddy.  We’re having so much fun figuring out what to vlog about!  He’d LOVE if you would go and subscribe to his channel or leave him a comment on one of his videos.  Louis is very excited about the whole process.

Visiting. My Momma this weekend.  She lives in New Castle, PA…which is one of the largest manufacturers of fireworks.  Because all of their people are out on the 4th of July, setting off fireworks everywhere else, they host a Independence Day-style festival a week later.  The fireworks were fabulous, even just watching from her porch from a distance.  And Louis loved getting his face painted, and winning prizes at the festival.

Repeating.  A lot of praises at everyone in the sewing world, as they work on adding my design to their makes.  I offered up a free download this week, in response to all of the heavy things that have been happening lately.  And I’ve been incredibly overwhelmed with the response and am BEAMING over the excitement people have about being a billboard for positivity.

 Writing. Some posts early for this month, all Harry Potter schemed.  Or at least a good bit of them.  Louis’ birthday party is going to be be HP themed and we are starting to think up decorations and such already for it.  It’s going to be so much fun!

Scheduling. Some time to just relax.  Tuesday is my 31st birthday (woot!) and I’m hoping that I can take a break from all of the crazy and just enjoy a birthday.  Coffee date with some gals in the morning, followed by some lowkey hang time with those two handsome dudes I live with.

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
