Sunday Lately :: Week 81

Jul 17, 2016

Angelica, Meaghan, Nicole, and myself. We e-hang out every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the last week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Planning, Loving, Reading, Wishing, Feeling.

Planning. Some downtime this week, hopefully.  We’ve been a busy bunch!  Louis had his last camp of the summer, we’ve traveled two weekends in a row, and life in general has been a little more hustle and bustle.  So I’d say that we deserve some jammie days soon!

Loving. The weekend we just had!  We went with our friends, the Kinseys, to a cabin in the woods.  Bennett tried to get me to go camping but I just really wanted a place with a toilet.  So this was the next step up from that.  Rustic cabin, surrounded by only trees, campfires, the works.  It was fabulous.  And Louis had a great time as well…on the beach, in the cabin, and hanging with his bestie Zooey.

Reading. The email we got from Louis’ headmaster, giving us the back-to-school shopping list.  Already?!?!  Didn’t they just graduate from JK4?  GAH!  It’s hard to even fathom that summer is almost over for the kiddos.  But Louis is so excited to go to school full time and eat lunch there…so I’ll save my “why is my baby growing up????” for my private time.  He needs to remain psyched up about school.

Wishing. That all of my supplies arrive on time so I can get working on some new offerings in the SHOP.  I’m going to be actually selling my some of designs as iron-on transfers, so people can DIY their little hearts out!  I’m excited!

Feeling. Sore.  I rolled my ankle while trying to retrieve my runaway puppy before we left on Friday.  I stepped into a foot-sized hole, wrenched my ankle and fell to the ground.  With witnesses.  So embarrassing.  And so painful!  My ankle still hurts but it’s getting better so I’m thinking it’s not broken…just heavily sprained.  Little shithead, Annabelle.

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
