Sunday Lately :: Week 83

Jul 31, 2016

Angelica, Meaghan, Nicole, and myself. We e-hang out every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the last week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!
This week’s themes: Creating, Finding, Switching, Forgetting, Craving.

Creating. SO MUCH STUFF for Louis’ birthday party.  I’ve photographed each of the things we’ve been making as well, so tutorials are coming your way.  No joke.  The blog is going to be FULL of Harry Potter goodness, starting while we are on vacation.  I thought it’d be good to give each thing it’s own day, so I can break it all down into easy steps.  For sure, we’ve got some goodies coming.

Finding. My groove again.  At least I think.  The summer beat me up.  And we are scurrying around to get things done before we are gone for a full week.  But I feel like I’m finally scheduling myself out like I should, and starting to tame this insane brain of mine.  Hopefully.

Switching. Into a fun Blogger Tribe Instagram mode!  Angelica and I thought it would be fun to have a photo challenge on IG.  I hope you decide to join us!  Just tag #BTSaysCheese and follow along, in your own creative ways, with the prompts.  Each day, we will feature someone on our Blogger Tribe Instagram account.  Fun, right?

Forgetting. How emotional I start to get this time of year.  Louis’ birthday and his first day of the new school year always fall around the same day.  It’s a lot to take in.  This year is the big time, he’ll be in Kindergarten and attending school full time.  Like…all day.  Bennett and I are going to be lost puppies without our Louisbug around all the time.  Lou is super excited.  I’m all “whyareyougrowingupcan’tyoustayababyforeverjustloveme”.

Craving. Our vacation next week.  As stressful as being away from home can be…it’ll also be nice to be with the McKinley family.  Drinking.  Hanging out at the beach and pool.  Eating our weight in seafood.  Not stealing away for moments to get extra work done in the house when I’m supposed to be relaxing and removing myself from work.  You know….vacation.  (Full confession: I plan on bringing my computer AND some yarn to get some work done.  So I’ll never be fully removed.)

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
