This week’s themes: Updating, Remembering, Needing, Wearing, Being.

Updating. My resume to include “Professional Lipsync-er”.  Louis and I were playing around with DubSmash yesterday and….I don’t know.  There’s some talent here. 😉

Remembering. How nice weekends are.  I feel like we’ve taken a completely different path with things, being self employed, so we don’t fully appreciate weekends and the excitement of Friday (or the dread of Monday) as much as we used to.  But now that we’ve completed three full weeks of Kindergarten, I’m finding a brand new love for weekends.  I think Louis is too.

Needing. To get my rear in gear and get myself prepped for Oglebayfest.  Bennett and I will be vending there with Thread and Grain for the first time ever and I’m excited/nervous/overwhelmed.  It’s THREE FULL DAYS of being outside, in a booth, filtering thousands of people through your space.  And every year is either freezing cold, super hot, or raining.  So I don’t know how to prepare for the weather side of things until the week before.  Time to get to work!

Being. Excited about today.  We are planning an entire day out of the house.  Biking, walking the trails, there’s talk of a possible picnic…the whole works.  We were super lazy bums yesterday, so we are being quite the opposite today.  It’s all about balance, right?
