Sunday Lately :: Week 90

Sep 18, 2016

Angelica, Meaghan, and myself. We e-hang out every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the last week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!
This week’s themes: Completing, Visiting, Repeating, Writing, Scheduling.

Completing. My first ever experience with Irish Road Bowling in Wheeling.  And boy was it fun!  It was also probably one of the weirdest events to ever participate in.  Weird awesome, but weird.  You and hundreds of other people load onto a bus that carts you a couple of miles away. On WV roads. You, with coolers in tow and beers in hand, along with your teammates, roll 8 lb lead balls down the street. Mark where it falls off the road. Chase it into the fields if it goes in them. And then count, like you would in golf, how many throws it takes your team to get to the finish line. Beers, avoiding hitting people or being hit hard by these literal bullets, lots of walking, watching for cars traveling on the road, and yelling “car” or “ball” is the entirety of your several hour trek. So excellent. Totally doing it again next year.

Visiting. My planner.  Again.  I feel like I’ve said this before, haha.  We are basically scheduled out for every week from now until mid-November.  I’m exhausted just thinking about it.

Repeating. Lots and lots of ‘thank yous’ to anyone who went out and voted for my first look over at Project Run + Play!  We made it through the first round of eliminations and I’m excited to unveil my second-week look.  It’s a cute one!

Writing. A ton of blogging materials today.  But not necessarily for my own space here.  Patterns for Pirates is launching a Raglan Week (starting tomorrow!) and we’ve got all sorts of fun stuff coming your way.

Scheduling. Some time for a super-duper awesome, exciting, amazing, best-thing-ever opportunity that was just given to me!  I’m not allowed to talk about it yet.  But I will be needing to work my butt off for it!  SQUEE!!!  So excited!!

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
