Winter is Coming…to Vintage Lace

Sep 5, 2016

Although the weather outside isn’t exactly frightful, these Vintage Lace prints are pretty freaking delightful.  Remember me sharing the sweet Christmas Hoodie that I made for Louis a few weeks back?  Well, from that same run of pre-order fabrics, I was also given some gorgeous snowflakes.  And I couldn’t resist making something for myself as well.  I mean, why would Louis get to have all the fun?

The fabric that Vintage Lace prints on is butter soft.  But it’s also a sturdy fabric and super easy to sew with.  The colors on this are gorgeous.  And you can feel comfortable wearing it for more than just Christmas.  It’s totally legit as a winter wear.

You’ll have to forgive my photos this round, though.  I wasn’t feeling like a super model that day and I feel like I didn’t deliver. Sorry VL!  This isn’t your fault, it’s mine.

However, I do love the shirt that I made for myself.  It’s the Made for Mermaids Mama Blair…which I also tested for them and you can sneak over HERE to check out more details about it if you’d like.  Sometimes you need a good vneck shirt in your arsenal.  And it helps that I’m addicted to the max to raglan style tops.  Add some extra elements (like this cute ruffle) at the bottom and I’m sold, sold, sold.

Today is the final day for pre-orders for Vintage Lace’s Christmas Part II.  So if you were dragging your feet on making that purchase…you should probably just do it already.  (Fabric enabler alert!)  They’ve set up a website just for the pre-order side of things.  So head HERE to get your hands on this delicious run of holiday prints.
