Updating. Our Christmas goodies!  SO EXCITED about what we’ve come up with and officially launched this year.  Also…can we talk for a second about the fact that Thanksgiving is this week and Christmas is basically the next day?  What the hell happened?

Reminding. Myself that rest is necessary.  I injured my foot pretty badly during the DWTOVS event and hobbled around for a full week before admitting that it hurt bad enough to see the doctor.  I was convinced it was a stress fracture.  Turns out, after some x-rays, that there is no break!  So yay for that.  But I do have tendinitis…so I’ve been not exercising all week to give my foot a rest.  It’s still tender, but I think it was a good call to take it easy.  (Taking it easy is not easy for me.)

Needing. More nights like last night.  We had some friends over and Bennett lead us in some beer tasting, by the fireplace.  And then we went and laugh/cried while playing Cards Against Humanity.  It was good for the soul, that’s for sure.  I love our friend base we have in town.  It’s pretty excellent.

Wearing. My sewing machine sweatshirt.  Again.  Don’t you judge me.  It’s purple and has sewing machines in a knit pattern that I designed.  And I love it.  So….yeah.

Being. A little bummed about not traveling for Thanksgiving this year.  We made an adult decision and decided to stay home, instead of heading to North Carolina for Thanksgiving with Bennett’s family.  I haven’t missed Thanksgiving with the Gerkins once in the entire time that I’ve known Bennett.  And it’s breaking my heart that we won’t be with them.
