Planning. A week of busy work! Holy crap, you can tell Christmas is coming. Tis the season of Christmas orders, no sleep, and running around like a crazy person. Amiright?
Loving. The opportunities I’ve had lately to make some new BFFs. We had some girls and kiddos over to the house last night to decorate Christmas cookies. It was super fun. (Even if I’m not exactly the world’s greatest cookie decorator. Let’s pretend that the cute ones in this picture are mine……)
Reading. Nothing. I’m never reading anything. Seriously need to do-away with this prompt so it stops making me feel bad about myself, haha.
Wishing. I could share even an ounce of the same joy and excitement about Christmas that Louis does. It’s seriously the best having him around this time of year. I mean, it’s obviously always great to have Lou around. But when he talks about Santa and his reindeer, or when he explains that naughty kids get coal, or when his eyes light up when he’s telling you about a Christmas gift he wants to get for someone….it’s just the best.
Feeling. Pretty darn lucky to have the support we do of our friends and family. This is the fourth year now that we’ve decided to “adopt” a family in Wheeling for Christmas. And this year, we actually decided to adopt two families! We’ve been accepting donations and items for the families, and I’m looking forward to wrapping them up and delivering them to these deserving families! It’s like a big hug from a bunch of strangers! A reminder that there are kind people in this world and we are all pulling for them. If you’re wanting to help out, we’ve set up a page on our site here: Adopt-A-Family.
