Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!
This week’s themes: Enjoying, Hoping, Forgiving, Delving, Relying.
Enjoying. All of the things that came along with Valentine’s Day. We don’t really “celebrate it” here…but I do try and dress in theme, and I have fun making cards for Louis to hand out to his classmates.
Hoping. That my second round of sickness goes away quickly. Seriously. SECOND ROUND OF SICKNESS. I never get sick this much. It’s such a buzzkill.
Forgiving. Louis for totally calling me out at school in front of his classmates and teachers. Oy, haha. Maybe I should stop repeating it…but it is funny. We brought Lucas into the classroom to show-and-tell about our bearded dragon friend. Louis started talking about how Lucas goes to the bathroom…and then told everyone that one time he thought it was stinkier than usual. But it turned out because Momma had just used the bathroom. Hahahah. Omg. Dead.
Delving. Into the world of brushed poly fabrics. A little hardcore right now. #whoops I fought the trend so hard, but they’re SO SOFT! And it’s a fabric type that works for Louis, Bennett, AND me. So it’s too good not to have in my fabric stash.
Relying. On coffee and the patience of my family this week. We are celebrating Thread & Grain‘s milestones (2K fans in the Facebook Group AND 10K sales on Etsy) with a huge sale. And holy crap have people been loving the sale this time around! I have a ton of work to get done this week so I can get these orders out to my fabulous customers!
OMG your son! So, so funny!
