I’ve committed one of the biggest sins, being a Pirate girl. I never made myself a Boyfriend Vneck. I bought the pattern a million years ago, always intended to make it happen….and then never got around to it. Officially, I can be taken off the naughty list! I also don’t know what took me so long to make one of these….sorry Judy!
The Boyfriend V is one of Judy’s earlier patterns and we have plans to do a couple of updates to it, like adding plus sizes/layers/new hem options, etc. But for now, I will continue to make 2039480239840398 of them for myself to help make up for lost time between me and my new boyfriend of a shirt.
It’s like this beautiful level of slouchy but fitted. And the vneck hits at this perfect low-but-not-too-low spot. GAH. It’s just so good. I’ve made two so far and this is just the beginning of a new obsession. So I’m sure you’ll be seeing more from me.
Oh and the fabric? It’s a delicious brushed poly from Sew So English Fabrics. I could live in brushed polys if you’d let me. Like…my blankets, pants, shirts, underwear….everything. SO SOFT. Don’t judge.
