Sunday Lately :: Week 116

Mar 19, 2017

Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Progressing, Neglecting, Purging, Wondering, Craving.

Progressing. Toward the next “big” project that I’ve had planned for a while.  Apparently I cannot function if I don’t have a project to focus on.  This one has been in the works for a while and will finally be happening today…along with eight of my girlfriends.  It should be super fun!

Neglecting. I don’t know…everything?  Ha.  I’ve been a bad bloggy friend lately and haven’t been reading and commenting like I should be.  I think I’m going to start scheduling myself 30 minutes every morning to do some catchup before I start work-work.  That way I’m up to date and I have a real time to get it done, instead of “I’ll read this later” and then never do.

Purging. Our house this week.  Bennett’s sisters are flying in for their dad’s 70th (WHAT?!) birthday, and our house hasn’t been well tended to recently…or ever.  So some cleaning is desperately needed.

Wondering. How I got so lucky with Louis.  I know every parent brags up their child…I’m right there with them.  But Louis is just this beautiful bundle of energy and creativity and excitement and love.  Just pure love.  He loves everything with his entire being.  It’s such a special personality trait to have, though it does bring more heartbreaks because he feels so strongly for everything.  I guess my favorite part is that I’m on the receiving end of the strongest of those feelings.  Kiddo love his Momma.  And it melts me into a gooey puddle on the daily.

Craving. Coffee.  Lots of it.  How much do you think it’d cost to have an in-house barista?  Probably pennies, right?  Ha.  A girl can dream.

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
