Sunday Lately :: Week 118

Apr 2, 2017

Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Working, Loving, Stressing, Growing, Visiting.

Working. On a Spring Mini Capsule for Louis.  I’ve failed to post my progress but I’ll make sure to include some updates this week on Instagram and this here blog.  So far, I’ve gotten a good amount of pieces completed and I have all of his shoes (minus some sandals for this year).  I’m going to try and photograph “complete” outfits on Louis as much as I can, but I can’t guarantee he’s going to be super excited about all those photos.  I’ll try!

Loving. Beauty and the Beast! OMGGGGG.  We saw it in theaters yesterday and it was just the best.  Besides any Star Wars movie experience, I am ranking that up there as one of the best movies I’ve seen.  It was such a great adaptation from the original Disney cartoon, but added so much more.  I laughed, I (almost) cried, I sang and danced along with the music.  It was excellent.

Stressing. Out a little bit about this throat tickle I noticed yesterday.  And I was super worn out and even took a nap in the middle of the day.  OH NO.  The boys have both been sick recently and we’ve collectively been ill a ton since 2017 arrived, so I’m worried that I’m getting something now too.  I don’t like taking medicine or anything other than letting my body work things out, but I’m thinking about drugging myself with anything that will work just so I can ward it off before it even arrives.  Ain’t nobody got time for being a sickie.

^^Not a new pattern.  This is the P4P Sweet Tee...but I sewed up some fabric from Vinegar & Honey Co's BeeBox and took photos of myself on Friday to show it off.  Isn't my Cinderella-sewing themed shirt just so fun??

Growing. My closet again this week.  We’ve got a pattern releasing this week with Patterns for Pirates, so I’ll be sewing up two more versions and then taking all the photos today.  ALL THE PHOTOS.  I think I’ll have four versions to photograph of myself.  This poor computer has so many posed images of me, it’s ridiculous, haha.

Visiting. With my sister and her babies next weekened!!  Eeeeeee!! I’m so excited for them to visit, and to have my Momma here as well.  I don’t get nearly as much time with my niece and nephew as I’d like, so I’m going to soak it in as much as I can.  (Plus, I’m such a weird level of crazy that I’m even considering sewing them all some new clothes so I can do a mini-photoshoot with the cousins.  It’d be SO CUTE.)
