Digging. Around in the dirt a lot.  There always seems to be recurring themes on these Sunday Lately posts for me…and right now, it’s all about the creek.  We’ve been just loving fresh air and playing in the water.  And it doesn’t hurt to have some cute creek boots too!

Aiding. In a tire change for the first time ever.  2017 literally throws all the curveballs at us, including a flat tire during school pickup.  We were at the very top of the hill, already in line when we noticed the flat.  So we had to pull off, crank the car up…and then because we were on a hill, it started to slide down it once the wheel was off the ground.  So the car jack got all bent and we had to start again.  But damnit, we made it happen.  Take that, 2017!

Experimenting. With some new wood goodies for the shop.  I had no idea the mother necklace I made last week was going to be such a hit. But I’ve been sending that cutie out all week in the mail!  So fun!

Believing. That I hit the jackpot with my May the 4th Star Wars Quilt Swap.  Holy potatoes.  My partner ( @madebyjaime on Instagram) is CRAZY TALENTED!  And she sent me a gorgeous mini, along with the coolest wallet and some really thoughtful gifts from her hometown.  I am swooning hard over everything.

Refreshing. Myself for the new week ahead.  We’ve got lots of housework that really should have been done a million years ago, along with projects I’d like to start.  And of course, new goodies for the shop.  I’m so happy that people have been loving the designs I’ve been putting out lately.  It’s been fun to see my crowd grow in the Facebook group we created!
