Sunday Lately :: Week 124

May 14, 2017

Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Shopping, Releasing, Breaking, Cleaning, Sewing

Shopping. For fabrics for another crazy idea of a photoshoot I have.  This time, fabrics are a little harder to master, only because of the [picky] people that will be wearing them.  But I’m excited to make it happen!

Releasing. Video evidence of my dance skills into the public.  Haha.  Louis and I love to dance (Bennett too!) and we recorded a tiny blurb of us dancing together.  Me, headless.  Louis, adorable.

Breaking. Out the paint and letting Louis go wild with some Jackson Pollock style painting.  Well, Bennett did.  I only got to help them clean up the mess after they were done splattering paint everywhere.  But I love how into it Lou was.  He’s been begging us to let him paint again and I think Bennett is going to be making that happen for him soon.

Cleaning.  Ha.  You must be joking.  Cleaning?

Sewing. All the things.  I whipped up a dress to wear for Mother’s Day today.  And we’ve got a string of things in pre-testing and full-blown testing right now.  So I’ll have an obnoxious amount of photos to share within the next few weeks.

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
