Walk the Plank PJ Bottoms by Patterns for Pirates

Sep 27, 2017

We’ve spent all summer sewing and putting out woven fabric patterns over at Patterns for Pirates, and today is the final day of our “P4P Summer of Wovens”!  Woot!  We are celebrating the end of the woven sewing season with a FREE pattern for you guys, and one that will work for the entire family.

Really, the WHOLE family.  It’s a unisex pant pattern in youth and adult sizes and covers from 3M – Plus 3X.  Not bad, eh?

The Walk the Plank PJ Bottoms are the quickest, simplest form of sleep bottoms.  There is no side seam, no extra waistband piece, and we’ve drafted it to fit onto a 44″ wide fabric.  What’s that mean?  You only need to sew up three seams (both leg inseams and the crotch), and you can use your favorite/hoarded flannels and quilting cottons.

SO MUCH YES.

Walk the Plank PJ Bottoms are drafted as a straight-leg, relaxed fit, in three lengths.  And what do you know?  I sewed up a version of each size for the three of us!  Here they are:

Short Shorts.

Knee Length.

Pant Length.

Because it’s such a quick sew, I totally see these being the #1 most used pattern this winter for family Christmas sets.  Oh the cuteness.  Seriously can’t wait.

Did I mention that this pattern is FREE??  What are you waiting for?  Go get it now!

And while you’re at it, Patterns for Pirates is having our very last SITEWIDE SALE for 2017.  Read about the end of Summer of Wovens HERE and find the discount code for the sale.
