I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly. Seriously. You’re not ready for what’s about to come. It is one of the sexiest things Judy has drafted to-date and it is available NOW. Let’s talk about the newest Patterns for Pirates release, shall we? Meet the Wiggle Dress.
Okay, okay. I know I already posted my mermaid version of it, but here’s the non-costume look at this little cutie. Judy literally jammed as many options as she could into one pattern and then turned every single woman ever into a hottie-pa-tottie. The Wiggle Dress is magic. It comes in multiple lengths (crop top, shirt, above-knee, below-knee, midi, and floor), multiple sleeve styles (short, half, three-quarter, and long), off the shoulder, boat neck, low back, high back…..ALL THE OPTIONS.
The great thing about this pattern is that it accounts for curves. Boooooooooty. The back piece features a middle seam and hugs those curves. All of them. So much va-va-voom.
I’m only talking about this because it has been asked a million times already. But yes, I wore shapewear. And yes, I hate wearing it. I hate wearing the shorts style because they feel weird on me….and like my legs are trying to escape out of the bottom of them. I hate the bikini style ones because they give me double butt cheeks. And I hate the thong version….because it honest to god feels like my butt crack is being punished for something. TMI? Probably. But it’s the truth.
I spent a lot of time looking for shapewear online. I went to a local department store and stretched/stared at everything the had to offer (and bought one that I seriously want to burn). I stared at so many models’ butts. SO. MANY. I eventually settled on this: SLENDSHAPER. Not going to lie, I’d rather live life without it. But I also wanted my tummy to be sucked in a little bit on my side-profile shots. So I went with it because it’s been the least unpleasant of my shapewear experience so far. On the average day? I might just feel better flying without it and being all “this is me, deal with it”. Haha. Because seriously I hate shapewear. I cannot stress that enough. I will whine forever about it.
What will I not whine about? This dress. Because it makes all of my curves work for me, rather than against me.
