I have been in about a billion sewing/fabric groups with Kristi (the badass boss lady behind George & Ginger) for forever now, and this is the first time I’ve sewn any of her designs. For shame, right? But I am maybe making it up a little bit by being part of her latest pattern test and release, which is part of a huge 2 Year/20K Member celebration in their group.
Cold shoulders are all the rage, and sweater knits are in high demand right now….so I think Kristi totally nailed this one on the head! And guess what’s the best part? This little cutie is free!! She partnered with Sincerely Rylee, so you’ll have to visit both Facebook groups in order to get the full code.

The Sincerely Sawyer Sweater is a pretty quick sew and one of the best parts is that there is ZERO hemming involved. The pattern features 3/4 sleeves with cuffs, a banded hem, and a collar with ties on one shoulder. The “cold shoulder” element is finished with a quick binding, in a v-shape, and all of the pattern pieces (rectangles included!) are part of the pattern printout. Super easy, right?
The relaxed fit is actually relaxed enough that I wore this top for Thanksgiving dinner. I mean…if I can eat 309420394832089 lbs of food in this and not feel horrible about myself, you know that the fit is great. Am I right?
Congratulations to Kristi and her team of workers over at George & Ginger! And make sure you find your way to the groups to participate in the rest of the celebrations going on this week!
