AHHHH!  You guys!  I have been having so much fun designing fabrics and instead of being business savvy and creating something for other people, I keep designing something for myself.  I have been part of the Patterns for Pirates and Made for Mermaids teams for a while and I felt like it was wrong that I didn’t have a fabric that had elements to represent my love for those girls AND sewing in it.  So…I created this design and tried to keep it selfishly to myself.

Bennett was all “I don’t understand what those things have to do with each other.”  And I was all “this isn’t about you.  It’s about me.”  Hahaha.

But seriously, maybe it doesn’t make sense together, but I like it.  And that’s what matters right?

When I shared my excitement with my group, I was bombarded with requests for others to get their hands on this fabric as well.  So maybe I’m not as crazy as I think I am.  I don’t know if I can handle being a fabric dealer all the time, but I was more than happy to set up a small run of this print for my people.  In case you’re looking to get your hands on some sewing/mermaid/pirate themed fabric, you can find the preorder HERE on my website.  I’m only keeping it open through November 19 so I can get everything in before Christmas, but I’m loving seeing the orders come in.  I will probably die a thousand happy deaths when I see what everyone has made with my fabric!
