Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!
This week’s themes: Dwelling, Rolling, Skating, Obeying, Knitting.
Dwelling. Upon Louis’ growth lately. No joke. Yesterday I was obsessed with staring at him and trying to figure out why he looked so grown to me. It probably didn’t help that he was wearing a cute plaid shirt, with skinny jeans, and these new adorable Cat & Jack boots from Target. It’s just so funny, because I see him every single day and then some days I’m like “What happened to you overnight? Did you take growing pills?”
Rolling. Out all of the holiday work that I can get done. I’m stocking up my shop with Thanksgiving and Christmas goodies. I’m also working my tush off this week so I can get everything out the door before we leave for North Carolina on Saturday. We are headed out for the annual family Thanksgiving getaway with Bennett’s side of the family and I am SO looking forward to drinking, eating, laughing, and playing board games for a full weeks span. It’s my favorite.
Skating. Through some sewing that I’ve been needing to get done. Did you know that it gets cold in November and that people need winter jackets? So weird. I made Bennett his requested jacket and now I need to really buckle down and get Louis’ and mine started and finished. Like, today.

Knitting. Not knitting myself…but creating knit-looking designs for some fabric. It should be here this week so I can make Bennett a ridiculous shirt. He doesn’t have any (??) holiday themed items in his closet and I’m determined to change that. I mean…you NEED to have at least one silly Christmas shirt to wear, right? RIGHT? No worries, I ordered enough of this fair isle beer fabric so I can make myself something as well. It’s 1000% necessary, friends.
I love that plaid shirt !
Thank you! It’s a yummy sweater knit from Pretty Posh Prints. I’m so happy I have more yardage to play with (or wrap myself in, either way). 😉
