We are changing things up a little bit for SL 2018 and bringing on co-hosts!  This week’s featured host is Melissa from Tales of a Tester. She is a fellow sewist and her kids are so beautiful I just can’t handle it.  Make sure you go say hello!

Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Getting, Using, Photographing

Getting. Used to a new schedule and working out of the house.  And it’s HARD!  But don’t tell anyone that I’m actually really enjoying it.  Because I am.  Maybe I just needed a small change.  I’ve been working alone for three years now, so it’s just a different atmosphere to put in the same hours, but talk to real humans face-to-face…rather than through a computer.

Using. Up any of my free time on spending it with Bennett and Louis.  This change has been such a big switch and I feel like I’m not getting my usual allocated hours in with the boys.  So even if we are being lame and sitting on the couch doing nothing, I’m making sure I’m doing nothing next to them.  It’s going to be my number one focus during this whole thing…because our family is super close and I never want to lose that about us.

Photographing. All of the sewing that I can.  I’m going to try and at least have one or two posts per week on here, that isn’t Sunday Lately.  I love blogging and sewing and sharing and I don’t want to lose that part of my creative spirit.  I’ve got this, right?

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!

So glad you are adjusting to working outside the house and enjoying it! I’m on a mission to go the opposite direction, working at home and not somewhere else lol
