Oh my goodness, Stranger Things fans. Get ready to pee your pants over the fabric I’m about to share!! Sara over at RP Custom Fabrics has basically the coolest concept for prints right now and you will want to bare through all of these photos of me just to see how incredible it really is.

They are bringing a line of designs that mash popular shows/movies with classic art. It is incredible!!! I was the lucky duck that begged and pleaded for the Stranger Things version and they sent me a fat half to play with. Of course, I went straight to one of my most-sewn patterns and whipped up this Mama Mya.
Honestly, I was a little nervous that my combo of black and white stripes and Stranger Dali wouldn’t go well, but I’m glad I went for it. Because hello freaking awesome shirt.

Have you ever done a “Which Stranger Things Character Are You?” quiz? I have….and they said I was Barb. Barb. BARB. FREAKING BARB.
First of all, Barb is a great girl. And she didn’t deserve the treatment she got, ever. BUT. I’m not Barb! If anything, I’d like to think I was a mix between Nancy and Steve. Goodie two-shoes who breaks the rules when the times calls for it, mixed with a loveable person who thinks he’s badass but really just becomes the parents of the situation.
But not Barb. Stop it, Buzzfeed. You don’t know me.
I am not a person who is ever drawn to this color scheme. I tend to shy away from colors that match my hair. However, as a complimentary fabric (and not the main print right next to my face), I can totally get down with this. I love the nod to Dali’s style of art. And I looooooove the Demogorgon’s shadow. Love it. It’s just so cool! I wanted to use every inch of the fabric that I could, so I added that little pocket to the front as well. I think it ties the print nicely into the shirt more too.
