Cue the Momma tears again….because we’ve got an official 2nd grader on our hands.  ::sob sob sob::

Louis’ first day of school was yesterday and he was AMPED about it.  To the point that our night owl was all “can I go to bed?” at 5:00 the night before, thinking it would help school arrive faster.  I love this kiddo.  He loves school and interacting with his classmates and teachers….and he LOVES to learn.  I’m so happy we’ve instilled that in him from the beginning.

Louis has a new teacher to the school this year.  It’ll be fun to learn all about this new staff member and find out how we can fit into her teaching style.  We’ve loved all of our teachers so far at Louis’ school (actually the whole staff is seriously so incredible) that I’m sure Miss Wilson will also be amazing.

Kiddo brought home this paper from his first day of classes.  I love it.   But to be honest, I love everything….

It’s impossible to mistake who the redhead and bearded man are supposed to be, isn’t it?

And as always, here’s a quick trip down memory lane of all of Louis’ first days of school.  I can’t believe he’s been doing this for so long.  And holy crap does he change from year to year.  WAAAAAH.

Happy new school year, my little man!  Can’t wait to experience second-hand what you get to learn all year long.
