AHHH! Aren’t release days just the best thing ever? If you’re me, they are, because I get to boast about my besties who make sewing patterns that are awesome.
Want to talk about the newest from Made for Mermaids? It’s called the Jamie pattern and it is SO MUCH FUN.
Fun how? I’m so glad you asked!
First, it’s a poncho style sweater. So it’s huge and roomy and goes perfectly with those sweater knits you’ve been hoarding, in preparation for winter. It’s a perfect layering piece and the boatneck on it gives plenty of opportunities for you to slide it off one shoulder for the sexy-sexy shoulder action you’ve been waiting to make happen.

But then. BAM! You flip it over your head…..
…and you’ve got yourself a cocoon style cardigan! How stupid fun is that?!?!

When worn like this, it even has this cute little peek-a-boo opening at the back, while draping down past your booty. (I believe that Team Mermaid is also hooking you up with ways to close up that opening, if it’s not your thing.)
I’m absolutely in love and think that Megan T. hit this one out of the park. Hello sweater season. I am ready for you, girl.
